Hair Accessory Holder DIY

I have a hard time throwing things away. I'm not a hoarder, although I used to be. I have semi-annual purging parties for my belongings. I go through everything in the spring and in the fall and throw out, give away, recycle, or keep. Anyways, all that to say that I couldn't throw out my Oatmeal container because I thought I might be able to use it for something. And in the middle of Easter, I thought of what I could do with it. Strange I know, but hey, inspiration can hit you randomly and you jut got to run with it.

So I made a hair accessory holder out of my old Oatmeal container.

Side note, when using a hot glue gun, don't forget where you put it or you might end up stepping on it. Yeah, that just happened.

I cut a long rectangle out of one side about halfway around the container.

Then I measured out how much paper I needed to cover the whole thing and then cut out a mirrored rectangle.

And that's when I glued it and accidentally stepped on the glue gun. This weekend must've really tired me out!

On the top I can hang headbands, sunglasses and clips, and the bottom opening is like another layer to hang things. In the inside I can put my hair ties and stretchy headbands.

Anyways, hope this week treats you well!

Love, love
